Finally some snow….

The kids have been waiting and waiting for some snow and it FINALLY came!  It is not much, but it is enough to do a little sledding.  So we got all geared up and went for it.  The funnest thing this day was the ditch in the back yard.  We have this little dug out area to help with the flow of water and because we have had some rain/snow mix that melted, along with freezing temps, it created our own little luge track.  The kids would get a running start, flop onto the sled, and slide down it, even I could not resist the fun!  There are times when I wish I lived in Hawaii, but then I have moments like these where I see the kids sledding and all bundled up and I realize, that seasons are a good thing.
